Immediate Opening: Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) - Grand Forks AFB, ND Location: Grand Forks Air Force Base, Grand Forks, ND Your Expertise Is a Critical Need for Military Families Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) has an urgent, immediate opening for a dedicated professional to provide essential behavioral health services to military service members and their families. This is a vital onsite role near/on Grand Forks AFB, ND, and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY. Service members and their families face immense and unique challenges-deployments, transitions, and the constant demands of military life. As an Adult Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC), you will be a beacon of support, offering confidential counseling and guidance to help them navigate stress, strengthen relationships, and build personal resilience. Your work will directly impact the well-being and readiness of our military community. In this critical role, you will: * Be a Confidential Source of Support: Provide face-to-face, non-medical counseling services to active-duty service members, their spouses, and family members. * Empower and Guide: Support clients dealing with stress, relationships, occupational concerns, and other life transitions. * Build Community Resilience:Conduct individual, couples, and family counseling in various settings, including military installations, command settings, and community locations. * Educate and Inform:Deliver presentations, workshops, and training on topics related to stress management, coping strategies, and military life challenges. * Collaborate for Impact: Work hand-in-hand with military leadership, base support services, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for service members and their families. Minimum Requirements We are seeking a compassionate professional with the following qualifications: * Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA). * A valid, unrestricted counseling license, preferably in the state of work; however, licenses from other states may be accepted. * Acceptable licenses: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC. * Please note : LADC and LMSW licenses are NOT eligible. Clinicians under supervision may NOT apply. * A strong understanding of military culture and the unique stressors service members and families face. * The ability to work independently and develop tailored intervention strategies. * Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English. * Must be able to pass all background/suitability checks, including additional installation-specific requirements. Desired Experience * Previous military service or strong familiarity with military culture. * Experience working with active-duty service members, veterans, or military families. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
