Superintendent - Data Centers

About the Role We are looking for a Superintendent with data center construction experience to lead site operations from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have worked for a general contractor and been involved in one or more data center builds, overseeing day-to-day field activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning scopes. Key Responsibilities Lead on-site construction activities and manage daily field operations. Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to maintain workflow and productivity. Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. Oversee safety compliance, site inspections, and corrective actions as needed. Maintain project schedules and support short-interval planning with the project team. Identify field issues, propose solutions, and communicate impacts to the Project Manager. Conduct site meetings, track progress, and maintain detailed site documentation. Support commissioning activities and turnover requirements. Qualifications 5 years of construction experience, preferably in a superintendent or foreman-level role. Experience working for a general contractor on data center projects (at least one full build preferred). Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within mission-critical environments. Proven ability to manage subcontractors, maintain schedules, and enforce site safety. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (asset). Trade background in electrical or mechanical (asset). Supervisory certifications or health & safety training.
