Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage security tools, policies, and procedures across IT systems and networks. Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modelling. Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM systems. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and standards. Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and secure network configurations. Support DevSecOps initiatives and cloud deployments. Perform incident response and forensics when necessary. Collaborate with IT and development teams to enforce secure practices. Provide security awareness training. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in information security. Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM tools, and cloud security. Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash). Understanding of network protocols, encryption, and IAM. Nice to Have: Certifications such as CompTIA Security, CISSP, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, or Microsoft Security Engineer Associate.
