Job Description

Direct message the job poster from Nuitée Principal UI/UX Designer Location: Remote or Casablanca or Amsterdam Reports to: VP of Product Nuitée is redefining online travel through API-first technology that brings demand and supply into one connection – no more intermediaries or third‑party layered solutions. Exclusive travel experiences are no longer optional – they’re expected. For fintech partners like Revolut, access to premium hotel inventory isn’t just a perk – it’s a strategic differentiator. But there’s a problem – the best hotel inventory is locked into a legacy system designed for OTAs to win. As long as the inventory is locked behind intermediaries designed to protect OTA margin, true differentiation is impossible. We know because we spent 5 years trying to unlock this inventory. But we didn’t build another white‑label OTA or aggregator or reseller feed. We built a singular connection for partners to access exclusive hotel inventory at the source. It’s the ability to tap into true direct access – inventory that’s never been on any OTA; real control over availability, pricing, hotel value adds, and dynamic AI merchandising with configurable perks. After 20 years in a locked ecosystem, partners can finally turn travel into a branded margin‑positive differentiator that builds loyalty – and wins. We let hoteliers own their inventory and let demand partners own the relationship. Role Overview Do you want to be a part of reshaping the travel ecosystem? We’re looking for a highly motivated Principal UI/UX designer to lead the design of user experiences across our Connectivity, Payments and Services, Smart Distribution products. This role will work alongside product and tech to deliver best‑in‑class UX for helping our partners to connect easily, manage their operational overhead and capture more demand more profitably. This role is pivotal to achieving our goal to help hoteliers be part of the future of travel and deliver true value. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end user experience across Connectivity, Payment and Services and Smart Distribution solutions – with a creative spin on AI‑powered tech – transforming complex operational workflows into intuitive, high‑impact tools for our partners. Main Responsibilities Design Strategy and Execution Lead UX strategy and execution across multiple product areas: Connectivity (integrations, onboarding, contract management), Payments and Services (VCC, whitelabel payments, AI concierge) and Smart Distribution (channel and revenue management, promos). Design experiences that balance usability with complex backend functionality (APIs, AI agents, payment logic, etc.). Partner with product managers and engineers from discovery to delivery, ensuring seamless handoffs and implementation. User Research and Validation Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to deeply understand user pain points — from hotel operations to booking flows. Turn insights into actionable design decisions, wireframes, and high‑fidelity mockups. Design Systems and Consistency Maintain and evolve a scalable design system that aligns across Nuitee’s products. Ensure visual and interaction consistency across platforms, portals, and embedded tools. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product, Engineering, AI/ML teams, and Operations to shape product direction. Advocate for design best practices and accessible, inclusive design at every stage of development. Impact and Measurement Define and track design success metrics — usability improvements, task completion rates, adoption metrics, engagement, and partner satisfaction. Continuously iterate based on performance data and user feedback. Requirements 7‑10 years of UI/UX or product design experience, ideally with strong tenure in hospitality, travel, B2B SaaS or platform companies. Proven experience designing complex user workflows (e.g., onboarding, payments, dashboards, AI/automation tools) at pace (whether it be in start‑ups or fast‑paced high‑growth companies). Expertise with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and prototyping platforms. Strong understanding of front‑end development constraints and handoff best practices. Comfortable designing for multiple personas (e.g., hotel managers, operators, finance admins, tech integrators). Proven experience in mentoring less‑experienced designers and championing and instilling best practices. Excellent communication, cross‑functional collaboration skills and flexibility to jump into projects that may require “quick and dirty” hi‑fi designs. Proactive, curious, and collaborative – you bring clarity to ambiguity. Bonus: experience with AI‑enhanced tools, API‑based platforms. What We Offer The opportunity to be at the heart of disruption in travel and to shape the future of travel connectivity A fast‑paced product‑led environment Ownership of critical, high‑impact initiatives Well‑funded team and initiatives Remote‑friendly, collaborative culture Competitive compensation and benefits Seniority level Director Employment type Full‑time Job function Design, Information Technology, and Product Management Industries Technology, Information and Internet and Travel Arrangements Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Nuitée by 2x J-18808-Ljbffr
