Description Scopely is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our LiveOps Automation team in Spain, UK, Ireland, or Portugal on a hybrid or remote basis. We are expanding across platforms with new ambitious projects to strengthen our industry presence and reputation. What You Will Do Develop ML capabilities for LiveOps teams across various gaming platforms. Design, develop, and research ML systems, models, and schemes; contribute to technical planning; collaborate with stakeholders to align workflows and requirements. Build sophisticated LiveOps tools powered by ML automation and decision-making, transforming game management processes. Apply advanced statistical and ML methods to large, complex datasets. Translate data science prototypes into production-ready ML models, ensuring performance over time. Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure for large-scale ML model deployment. Collaborate with developers to create tools that empower Live Operators and Game Design teams, enhancing gameplay and automation support. Contribute to technical planning and stakeholder discussions. What We're Looking For Deep understanding of ML technologies, development best practices, and production-quality ML platform delivery. Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, MXNet, TensorFlow, etc.) and model serving frameworks (Seldon Core, TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving, etc.). Strong coding skills in at least one mainstream programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc.) and experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end). Bonus Points Experience with MLOps platforms. Knowledge of databases like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure SQL Data Warehouse. Experience building recommendation systems. Mentoring experience with less experienced team members.
