Business Development Director - Remote

We are now seeking a Business Development Director with solid experience in interacting and dealmaking both with public and private companies and partners. Responsible for defining the strategy to promote projects and select potential partners. Responsible for promoting the company’s strategic and technical capabilities related to the different research areas. Collaborate with the various research groups to understand their competencies, including financial objectives, and propose to structure R&D strategies. Responsible for supporting project managers in the coordination of European projects throughout their life cycle, from negotiation to closure, including financial objectives and topics to structure their R&D strategy. Collaborate with technical teams to define and prepare the short-, medium-, and long-term funding strategy including proposals to ensure quality issues. Coordinate the preparation & supervision of budgets for funding programs. Bachelor's or PhD in life sciences or chemistry. In laboratory work, evolving from the lab to project management and then to business development roles. Successful track record of creating value in drug discovery and / or development, in venture‑backed startups and / or biopharmaceutical companies. Experience leading deals to internalize projects, defining corporate strategy & priorities, and licensing products to other companies. Experience in drafting documents, applying to calls for proposals, and in participating in multidisciplinary teams managing projects, both administratively and financially J-18808-Ljbffr
