About the Role We are looking for a Legal Counsel to support the Head of Legal with corporate and insurance matters. This role provides an opportunity to take ownership within the corporate area, working closely with the Head of Legal, the Finance team, and other key stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing Provide legal support on corporate matters including document preparation, filings, notarizations, legalizations, and compliance with internal policies and local regulations. Manage legal documentation and databases, ensuring up-to-date and accurate record keeping. Assist with insurance matters and regulatory filings, and support other projects as directed by the Head of Legal. Support cross‑functional teams on ad‑hoc matters, transactions, and corporate initiatives. Monitor and interpret changes in legislation related to corporate governance, compliance, and company filings. Facilitate communications and coordinate with notaries, government bodies, and external counsel. Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes and tools. Location: Madrid (Remote / Hybrid). Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or equivalent preferred). 3‑6 years of relevant experience in corporate law, from a law firm or in‑house environment. Experience or exposure to Common Law jurisdictions is a strong plus. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. High attention to detail, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information. Self‑starter with ownership and initiative, high energy and stamina. Decisive and action‑oriented, able to make rapid decisions even under uncertainty. Highly motivated, independent, and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact. Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1). Experience in a start‑up is a plus. Advanced degree in finance, sustainable finance, banking, or related fields is a plus.
