CEO / Entrepreneur Through Acquisition – Novastone Capital Advisors We are a global firm addressing succession challenges for SMEs through our Operator‑Led Search Fund Program. We seek an ambitious mid‑career professional to partner with us to search, acquire and lead a small or medium‑sized enterprise as Chief Executive Officer. Scope : A structured, up to 24‑month professional search to acquire a small – midsized company, based in Spain , with full financial, business and equity support from NCA. Compensation : Base salary plus vested shares in the acquired company. Please note we do not invest in start‑up or scale‑up companies. Responsibilities : Develop a search process to generate sufficient deal flow and identify target businesses. Manage the acquisition process with support from our Investment Management team. Step into the CEO role of the newly acquired business. Generate and evaluate strategic growth options, develop long‑term strategy and 100‑day plans. Grow the business top line via marketing and sales initiatives. Review product/service offerings, portfolio strategy and brand positioning, identify gaps and implement improvements. Manage geographic expansions and market entrance strategies when required. Drive efficiency and ensure profitable growth. Requirements : 10 years of professional experience. Academic achievement – Executive MBA or MBA preferred. 5 years in leadership roles managing multiple teams across multiple geographies. 10 years of proven track record of running and growing businesses or business units in Spain. P&L responsibility. Strategic vision for a sector or industry. Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship. Fluent in English and Spanish. Nice‑to‑have Requirements : M&A experience. Consulting experience from a top firm. Experience managing and operating an SME. Owner, Founder or co‑Founder of a start‑up. Experience in global business development, international expansion. Recent successful business transformation experience. Open mind towards learning, people and even failure. Selection Process : In‑depth interviews, online assessments, business case presentation and a jury review of investment thesis over several weeks. Webinars and informational materials to learn more about the program. Final Assessment Centre with jury selection in February 2026.
