Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced and dependable House Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing operations within a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership and ensure quality patient care while maintaining compliance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role requires weekend availability and hands-on management of nursing staff and operations. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF nursing personnel. Supervise and support nursing activities, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care. Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and overtime authorization; assist in hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations. Participate in developing and implementing policies, ensuring compliance with accreditation and licensing standards. Assist with budget management and resource allocation for the nursing department. Foster effective communication and collaboration with medical staff, administration, and other hospital departments. Support orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff. Qualifications: Active California RN license and CPR certification required. Minimum 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience , preferably in long-term care. Strong communication skills (verbal and written); proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Dependable, organized, and able to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and leadership. Ability to work weekends and adapt to changing facility needs.
