Job Description

Salary Range: $94,306 - $112,000 We have an opportunity for a T-AVB Subject Matter Expert to act as the single point of knowledge and contact within the MAW. Essential Job Functions: Train Marines in T-AVB operations, including but not limited to: loading, flight deck, power, self-defense, meals. Manage and coordinate TAVB training and planning for activations and training exercises. Act as liaison between Ship’s personnel, other civilian entities (MARAD, MSC) and the Marines. Help manage Marine Air Wing (MAW) T-AVB budget. Provide on-call T-AVB expertise when needed. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. High School Diploma or GED plus 16 years of experience, an Associates plus 10 years or a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience is required. Active Secret security clearance is required. Must be familiar with MALSP. Must be familiar with the T-AVB ship. Must have a strong understanding of Marine Aviation Logistics (Maintenance Dept and interactions with the Supply Dept.). Must be familiar with Marine Corps Aviation operations. Must have a strong working knowledge of the USMC MF Program. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to work with Civilians (ship’s crew) and be equally comfortable with L/Cpl (and below) up through the Flag ranks. The ability to work independently with limited guidance yet function as a member of a team. Desired Skills: BS degree in Information Technology (or closely related field). Experience/familiarity with the T-AVB ship. Strong understanding of Marine Aviation Logistics (Maintenance Dept and interactions with the Supply Dept.). Experience with Marine Corps Aviation operations.
