Job Description

Primary Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements across multiple jurisdictions. - Ensure compliance with IFRS, SAICA standards, and regional accounting regulations. - Conduct variance analysis, financial forecasting, and cost control. - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Taxation & Compliance: Manage corporate tax compliance across all operational regions. - Ensure adherence to SARS and other international tax authorities. - Develop international tax planning strategies to optimize financial efficiency. - Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and intercompany transactions. Budgeting & Financial Planning: Develop, manage, and oversee global financial planning and budgeting. - Monitor and optimize cash flow management. - Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership for expansion and investment decisions. Stakeholder & Team Management: Collaborate with finance teams and other departments. - Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. - Lead financial projects, including digital transformation and financial system integrations. Minimum Qualifications and Experience CA(SA) Chartered Accountant South Africa (SAICA Registered). - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 1-2 years post-articles experience in auditing, financial management, or taxation. Preferred Experience International financial reporting experience (IFRS, GAAP, or regional accounting standards). - Experience with multi-country tax regulations and compliance. - Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, or similar systems. - Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills. - Experience working with global teams or multinational corporations. - Knowledge of foreign exchange, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing. Competencies & Skills Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. - Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex financial data. - Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reporting and regulatory compliance. - Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to collaborate and lead financial projects. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication. - Time Management: Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
