Senior Financial Accountant

They are seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team in Pretoria East . In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full financial accounting function, overseeing reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial and statutory requirements. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting strategic financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements Management of the general ledger and reconciliations Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensuring adherence to IFRS and NPO regulatory requirements Liaising with Auditors and managing audit processes Leading and developing finance team members Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Accounting qualification & completed SAICA or SAIPA articles Minimum of 7 years post-articles experience Previous exposure to the NPO sector (advantageous) Strong financial management and reporting experience Proven people management and leadership skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Step into a rewarding role where your expertise will directly support a cause that matters.
