Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology Job Details: • Monday through Friday schedule • Call required one weekend per contract from Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM • 16 hours of orientation required • Work in 3-room, 8-bed interventional radiology unit • Average daily census of 25 patients • Treat adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Ohio state license • Epic charting system experience preferred • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Unit accepts first-time travelers • Scrubs provided by facility • Perform abdominal and pelvic procedures including chest tube placement, embolization, IVC filter placement and removal, stent placement, and thoracentesis • Conduct genitourinary procedures such as catheter/drain exchange, embolization, and internal/external biliary drainage • Perform vascular procedures including TIPS and central venous access/port placement • Equipment responsibilities include fluoroscopy operation, equipment setup, prep access site, and maintaining sterile field • Must maintain PACS system and equipment • Knowledge of isolation precautions and rapid response/code team protocols required • Sterile technique compliance mandatory Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
