Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Holiday rotation required • Every other weekend schedule • No on-call responsibilities • 2 years of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP • Must hold NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) licenses • Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience required • Epic experience preferred • May float within scope depending on experience • No floating to sister facilities required • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs • 72 hours of orientation required • Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents • Skills include bronchoscopy, extubation, NICU, pediatric critical care • SC RRT license must be in hand at time of start • All RTO must be included at time of submission • Block schedule accommodations considered with prior approval but not guaranteed • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This is a comprehensive teaching hospital and children's hospital that serves as a Magnet-designated facility with Level 1 trauma capabilities.
