Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant Enter and process accounts payable invoices and payments Manage accounts receivable, post cash receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances Perform daily data entry and maintain organized financial records Assist with general ledger entries and journal postings Support bank reconciliations and account reconciliations as needed Collaborate with team members on reporting, month-end close, and ad hoc projects Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting processes Qualifications - Commensurate with Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles Hands-on experience with AP, AR, data entry, and invoice processing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Excel and accounting software Reliable, professional, and comfortable working fully onsite Preferred: 2-3 years of full-cycle accounting experience Solid understanding of GAAP and technical accounting principles Experience with journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations Prior exposure to month-end close and balance sheet analysis Critical thinker who can analyze data and identify process improvements Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive pay based on experience 100% paid medical coverage and generous PTO Week of Christmas off and 3% 401(k) match Strong team culture, great leadership, and long-term stability This is an excellent opportunity for a Staff Accountant who values work-life balance, professional growth, and a supportive environment while gaining exposure to both foundational accounting and more advanced GAAP-focused responsibilities.
