ER RN Job Details – Worcester, MA Location: Worcester, MA 01655 (Central Massachusetts) Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ER Holding Unit) Contract Type: Travel Nursing Start Date: December 16, 2025 End Date: March 17, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310 Self-scheduling: Available with manager approval Weekend Coverage: Required Orientation: 24 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required Experience with chest tubes, PCA pumps, phlebotomy, IV management, telemetry, and dysrhythmia interpretation preferred Must pass a telemetry test during orientation (score: 80% or higher) EPIC charting experience preferred Trauma Level I ER experience preferred Ability to care for adult and geriatric patient populations Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed) ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in the ER surge/overflow unit Monitor and manage telemetry and observation patients Perform and manage chest tubes, spinal precautions, PCA pumps, and epidural procedures (preferred experience) Start and maintain IVs, perform phlebotomy, and manage dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care using EPIC (preferred) Participate in self-scheduling and communicate effectively with management Complete required modules and pass orientation assessments Take the next step in your nursing career with this travel ER RN job in Worcester, Massachusetts.
