Strategic Buyer – Sheffield – £40,000 - £45,000 Excellent Benefits Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a Multi-Award-Winning global manufacturer in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Strategic Buyer to join their team. This newly created key role will see you build and maintain strong relationships with key global suppliers whilst sourcing new suppliers to provide dual sourcing opportunities and cost savings. What's on Offer: Share ownership – Buy a stake in the business and wider group and share in the success 37 days holiday, increasing with years of service Generous 15% non-contributory Pension BUPA Private Healthcare Death in Service (3.5 x salary) Free onsite parking & Pool Cars for any travel Working Hours: Full time Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities: Managed a portfolio of 700 SKUs across 60 global suppliers, maintaining strong supplier relationships and performance oversight Sourced, evaluated and onboarded new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards, governance and procurement requirements Led New Product Introduction activities, ensuring supply chain readiness pre and post launch, while aligning strategies with sales and marketing forecasts Conducted benchmarking, pricing negotiations and cost analysis to secure competitive value and identify cost-saving opportunities Monitored SLAs, KPIs and supplier agreements, contributing to continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the supply chain Prepared and presented senior-level reports for internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively both verbally and in writing Key Requirements: Strong background within manufacturing Global strategic supply chain experience NPI introduction experience Elevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
