We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Samaritan Medical Center. As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through the provision of high-quality occupational therapy services. Title : Occupational Therapist Location : Watertown, NY 13601 Shift : Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week Duration : Permanent Role with Complete Benefits SIGN ON BONUS: $10K Benefits : $10k Sign on Bonus (2 year work commitment) or multi-year loan forgiveness up to 4 years with 15k per year. 401k with match Eligible for full benefits 1st of the month following 30 days of employment 24 days of PTO in first year Long term disability and life insurance available Responsibilities : Conduct patient assessments to determine their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in the adult hospital and acute rehabilitation unit (IRF) based patient. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for achieving optimal functional outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans. Responsible to float between Samaritan Medical Center and Samaritan Keep Home. Requirements : BLS Licensed as OT in state of NY 1 year of previous experience strongly preferred Floating to different facility in Watertown required TB_HC
