The Candidate We are seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources/Payroll Manager to join this fun, friendly and growing team. The focus of this role will be providing Human Resources management and managing the Payroll function for the Australian business. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership and execution of the payroll function, whilst additionally providing HR support. The successful candidate will have strong administrative skills, come from a HR/Payroll background with tertiary qualifications and have exceptional attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a professional disposition are absolutely essential for this varied exciting role. Your effective organisational skills and ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines will see you in successfully hitting the ground running in this fast paced fun, friendly and social environment. An overview of the role: Human Resources Active involvement with the preparation of personnel files Provide monthly board management reports on HR and progress status on current initiatives Involvement within the Recruitment and Selection process and advise on HR issues including employee relations and conflict resolution Active involvement in providing personnel career development and training Review and maintenance of policies and procedures and HRM system Ad hoc administrative duties Payroll Processing monthly payroll for approx. 200 employees nationally Identify and drive payroll efficiencies and improvements Preparation of various payroll reports Award interpretation Monthly payroll reconciliations Prepare payment summaries Co-ordinate all Superannuation, Payroll Tax and other monthly activities Adhoc payroll duties To be successful, we ask that you meet the following criteria: Experience in Human Resource management and administration Demonstrated experience with end to end Payroll processing Solid understanding of payroll related legislation and legal compliance issues Possess a fun, friendly and social personality A 'Can do' attitude and exposure to new Payroll/HRM system project implementation and integration The Benefits A rewarding remuneration package including free onsite parking Work with a supportive organisation that recognises and rewards The opportunity to make decisions and implement new procedures This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career with a leading organisation.
