BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is hiring caregivers to provide a higher quality of one-on-one, in-home care to elderly, disabled adults, and those in need in the community. Choose the Caregiver shifts you want! Most days & shifts available. Duties: - Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Transport clients to appointments, errands and other - Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary requirements as needed - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas - Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals - Document tasks and create care notes for each visit - Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality Requirements Caregiver: Valid Driver's License Reliable, Insured Vehicle Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Registration or willing to register to be on the Home Care Aide Registry 1 year of previous professional experience as an in home Caregiver / Home Care Aide or similar (preferred) Benefits: - $21 - $24hr plus $2hr for weekend shifts - Caregiver Recognition Program - Paid Sick/Time off - Up to 40hrs of sick paid time off per year available after 90 days - accrue 1 hour for every 30 hours worked - Paid Time Off earned after 1 year - Free CEU trainings - Paid one-on-one, group and online trainings - Flexible Scheduling with Caregiver shifts offered within your availability Caregiver must have demonstrated alignment and experience in successfully living the BrightStar Care Core Values : Be Open and Honest: Approachable, Fun, Unflappable, Kind, Empathetic Serve with Passion: Help First, Confident Yet Humble, For the Greater Good, Make a Real Difference Do the Right Thing: Honest, Ethical, Tell the Truth Do What You Say: On Time, Finish What You Start, Accountable, Take Responsibility Make it Great: Continuous Improvement, Exceed Expectations, Bring Out the Best in Others, Detail Oriented Brightstar Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer
