Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment Location: New Brunswick, NJ Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks) Shift: Days, 4x10-Hour (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) Start Date: November 24, 2025 Overview Our client seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology RN for a travel assignment supporting both the Main Campus and the Cancer Center—the first and only freestanding cancer hospital in New Jersey. This role involves high-acuity care, procedural support, and conscious sedation recovery in a collaborative, research-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with IR procedures and conscious sedation recovery Support PICC line procedures (RNs assist only; PAs perform insertions) Monitor and manage patients requiring A-line and procedural wedge pressures Float between Main Campus and Morris Cancer Center via pedestrian bridge Participate in on-call rotation 1–2 days per week (average 4–6 times per month) Provide care to stroke center patients and those with trauma-level needs Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance standards Required Qualifications Active RN license Minimum 1.5 years of Level I trauma experience or 2 years of Level II trauma experience Experience in stroke center settings BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Proficiency in managing A-lines and wedge pressures Availability to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) Willingness to float between connected campuses Preferred Qualifications EKOS or similar device experience Scrub experience First-time travelers and local candidates accepted Additional Information No block scheduling permitted Conscious sedation recovery may involve PACU transitions Modules are not billable; plan for 5 hours of onboarding About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
