FACTORY COORDINATOR

Job description The Factory Coordinator must not only have a strong and traceable work history applicable to process and raw materials control, but must thoroughly understand the manufacturing and costing processes. Preference will be given to candidates with a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering (or similar field). The Factory Coordinator must, furthermore, ensure that the factory-finished products adhere to the required standards and are produced most cost-effectively. He/she does this by thoroughly controlling raw materials and process parameters, testing finished goods technical properties to ensure they adhere to the required standards, and over-inspecting quality on the finished good. Minimum qualifications and job requirements National Diploma: Chemical Engineering or in similar field. 2 3 Years experience in a similar field in manufacturing Must be willing to work a 6-x 6-month FTC with the possibility of permanent employment, where all benefits will then come into play. Be between the ages of 22 25 years. Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain a Quality Management System. Ensure raw material availability. Production planning. Ensure raw materials are within spec before entering the process. Control process parameters. Material requirement planning. Control finished product properties. Cost control. Over-inspect the Quality of the Box Develop body formulas Engage with raw material suppliers Effectively communicate to the team the non-conformities picked up at the lab Help production departments to identify & resolve non-conformities Key strengths & abilities Ability to pick up raw material or process parameters that go out of spec. Ability to design or modify testing methods for raw materials and processes. Ability to pick up trends and modify plans accordingly. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to work under extreme pressure and reach goals timeously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High ethical standards of work and personal conduct Thorough, accurate & high attention to detail Ability to work without supervision & driven to continuously improve
