Job Title: Web Development Specialist – WordPress Location: Fredericton Duration: 6 months Remote Work Policy: Prefers someone in Fredericton however, remote is also possible for candidates outside Fredericton with some travel requirement. Requirements: 3 years of experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites, including the creation of custom themes and plugins. 7yrs. of experience and understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL, with demonstrated ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize web applications. 7yrs. of experience designing responsive web interfaces and applying UX principles in accordance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) to ensure inclusive user experiences. Must be familiar with cloud hosting environments, DNS configuration, and automated deployment practices, ensuring efficient and secure web application deployment. 7yrs. experience and knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance requirements relevant to government web services and demonstrate ability to apply these standards in all development activities. 7yrs. experience as a Programmer Analyst specializing in website development and maintenance.
