Travel Surgical Tech - $1,298 per week in Thornton, CO

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Labor and delivery experience Postpartum experience Description: Travel position for CST/ORT in Labor and Delivery. The unit has 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs. The staff consists of a charge RN, 2-3 LD RNs, and 2-3 PP RNs during the day shift. Night shift staffing is similar to day shift. Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines, with 1:1 to 1:2 for labor and delivery and 3:1 for postpartum. Equipment utilized includes Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech. Candidates must possess labor and delivery and postpartum experience. Preferred candidates will have LDRP experience. Typical procedures performed include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs. The best personality fit is flexible, adaptable, kind, and drama-free. Unit policies and guidelines will be provided during orientation. This position offers exposure to new equipment and technology used by seasoned staff.
