Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: - Labor and delivery experience - Postpartum experience Description: This is a travel position for a CST in labor and delivery. The unit comprises 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs. There are 60 staff members on the unit. Staffing includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 L&D RNs, and 2-3 PP RNs on the night shift. Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 for labor and delivery and 3:1 for postpartum. The unit uses Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech systems. Candidates must possess labor and delivery and postpartum experience. Candidates with LDRP experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed include versions, C/sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs. Ideal candidates are flexible, adaptable, kind, and maintain a positive attitude. Unit policies and guidelines will be provided during orientation. The unit features new equipment and technology. Staff experience is notable, contributing to a supportive environment.
