Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, RDS, CloudFormation, and API Gateway. Lead end-to-end system design activities, translating complex business requirements into modern, cloud-based architectures aligned with DoD security standards. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning and configuration. Partner with cross-functional teams—including cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and data engineering—to ensure compliance with DoD Cloud Security and RMF frameworks. Optimize existing applications and workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency within AWS GovCloud or other secure environments. Conduct technical reviews, code assessments, and solution validation to ensure adherence to best practices and architectural integrity. Collaborate with Product Owners and Program Managers under Agile or SAFe frameworks to align sprint deliverables with mission goals.
