Network Engineer

Client - Insurance Holding Title - Network Engineer Type - Fulltime Location - Houston Texas Compensation range - $80K -100K (depending on skills and expereince) Key Responsibilities Design, create, install, and configure current network server systems and repair server hardware. Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems Use knowledge of network and server operating systems to help design, build and install internal and external networks. Perform remedial maintenance of file servers and network devices including the restoration or hardware and software. Test and evaluate network systems to ensure stability, eliminate problems and make improvements. Perform troubleshooting to correct issues. Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective new or more effective technology solutions • Assist in comparing vendors and costs to plan large scale system projects. Collaborate with IT risk management and security to reduce business risk. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent education/experience Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification strongly preferred. Working experience with Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and MS technologies. SolarWinds Experience Meraki Wireless SD-WAN Benefits: This is a direct hire opportunity.
