Job Title: Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Charlotte, NC (onsite) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Working hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:45 - 08:15) Total hours: 36 RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR WEEKEND SCHEDULE: FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY NO WEEKEND RTO FOR ALL TECHS EXCEPT OR TECHS: The expected start date is based on schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Year Experience Traveler Experience: Unit Will Accept 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU GE & Siemens Scanner Use is a MUST DO NOT SEND IF NO SIEMENS Some Trauma CT Procedure Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction Certs: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT) PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Skills: Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, Visage JOB DETAILS: RATIOS: Daily Caseload: 150-200 Scans; 4 Rooms Unit Will Accept 13 Weeks! *36 Hours Can be Offered 12 HOUR NIGHTS; 19:45 - 08:15; FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY Call Requirement: NONE Float Requirement: NONE Weekend Schedule: FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY NO WEEKEND RTO PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, also Code Stroke and some trauma patients. VERY FAST PACED On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs. Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs. Third shift there is 1 tech. Weekends we have 2 techs. Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens Scanner, GE. Our machines are Siemens, and we have the S3000 and the Sequoia. SCHEDULING TYPE: FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY/WEEKEND SCHEDULE FOR ALL TECHS EXCEPT OR TECHS: The expected start date is based on schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability.
