Job Description

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:00 - 14:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Must be active by start Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS (preferred), Fluoro Permit Must-Have: - RCIS certification preferred - Experience with Cerner charting system Description: Position requires a Cath Lab Tech. Start time options are either 6 AM or 7 AM. Shifts may be 4x10s or 5x8s. Call requirements include every 3rd weekend and 1-2 days per week (late or call). Weekend requirements consist of only call. Holiday requirements include being on call. Travelers are permitted to call off twice per assignment. Daily caseload is expected to be around 12 patients. Experience requirements are a minimum of 1 year. First-time travelers are accepted. Pending state license is accepted if it becomes active by the start date. Guaranteed hours per week are 40 hours. Candidates must have experience in diagnostic heart catheterization and related interventions. The ideal candidate will possess skills in various cardiac procedures including stenting and pacemaker insertion. Travelers may be required to float to different units if proficient in interventional radiology. Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and travel experience, but these are not mandatory. The unit typically serves adult and geriatric patient age groups. Daily patient census averages around 12. Candidates will complete required modules within a week of signing. Professional conduct is crucial, as any issues may result in contract termination.
