National Service Manager

Well-established manufacturer of air technology equipment seeks to employ a suitably qualified individual to lead and perform the service, maintenance and repair of their industrial and mining equipment to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction. You will be based in Cape Town area and be responsible for staff in Gauteng and Eastern Cape as well. For the position you would be required to have: National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Trade tested Electrician/ Fitter & Turner/ Service Engineer Proven experience in servicing industrial or mining equipment Valid driver’s license Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations Management experience Responsibilities would include you to: Plan and coordinate service activities, ensuring all maintenance and repair work is completed on time and within scope. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact to ensure clear communication and service excellence. Oversee workshop and field teams, manage costing, quoting, and invoicing, and ensure smooth operational workflows. Lead, motivate, and develop technical staff through performance reviews, training, and mentorship. Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental protocols to uphold the highest operational standards. Maintain accurate records of client equipment and spare parts, ensuring optimal stock levels. Drive service expansion, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen client retention and loyalty.
