Tax Accountant

Job Description Job Description Boutique accounting firm in Westfield, NJ that serves individuals and closely held businesses seeks a permanent full-time experienced accountant interested in personal growth. Ideal candidate will enjoy individual and corporate income tax preparation, review and tax planning, and assiting small business clients with their accounting, payroll and sales tax needs. Responsibilities: Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary tax returns Proactive short-term and long-term tax planning Maintain the general ledgers of small business clients utilizing QuickBooks Assist with filing quarterly and annual payroll tax returns Prepare and file sales tax returns ​ Requirements: 4 years tax season experience in Public Accounting and Tax Planning Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field Strong written and verbal communication skills Fluency with Lacerte tax software and QuickBooks preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred Company Description WESTFIELD CPAs LLC was founded in 1992.
