Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 (15:30 - 23:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Must have license in hand prior to start date Certifications: ARRT MR, BLS Must-Have: Must know how to operate Siemens MRI equipment Description: The MRI Tech will operate MRI equipment for imaging procedures. Candidates should have experience with a variety of MRI scans and techniques. The role involves working with diverse patient age groups, including neonates and adolescents. Responsibilities include performing functional MRIs and managing contrast media. The ability to perform advanced imaging techniques is essential. Interdisciplinary support will be available from respiratory and interpretation services. This position requires the ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. The candidate must be familiar with the policies surrounding medical imaging and patient care procedures. Candidates should be prepared to work two out of three major holidays.
