CNC Operator/Setter

We are looking for a CNC Operator/ Setter Salary: Competitive salary Location: Barnstaple Immediate start Shift: Morning and/or Afternoon shift pattern Client is open to both temporary and permanent contracts JDR is recruiting for a CNC Operator/ Setter to work in a large manufacturing site in Barnstaple. The role: As a CNC Operator/Setter you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your duties will be as followed: Set and operate CNC machines (including lathes and mills) to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards Interpret and follow engineering drawings, routings, and documentation accurately Support continuous improvement activities by contributing to best practice sharing and keeping to site standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety principles and company requirement standards About you: As a CNC/ Operator/ Setter you will have the following skills and experience: CNC machine setting and operating previous experience - and/or manual machining background Can read and interpret engineering drawings Basic understanding of measuring tools.
