Hygiene Operative

MAIN JOB PURPOSE Responsible for cleaning production and non-production areas, according to the cleaning schedules and following the company standard operations procedures. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors - Emptying rubbish bins, servicing toilets, canteens and wiping down communal surfaces - Tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request - Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately - Always follow the cleaning schedules provided - Always follow the cleaning SOPs and correctly use the colour coded cleaning utensils - Keep the cleaning utensils clean and in good conditions - Inform the line manager when replacement is required - Keep the cleaning chemicals safely stored in the designated areas. - Make sure that all cleaning chemicals are correctly labelled - Cleaning of the lines, lines equipment - Cleaning of the outside of the premises (smoking shelter, litter picking etc) - Other cleaning jobs upon request Essential Skills Reliable Punctual Team player Organised Enthusiastic Flexible
