Business Unit Manager – UK & Ireland Location: Midlands, Scotland, or Ireland Salary: Competitive (£120,000/year benefits) Industry: Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) / Industrial Services We’re Recruiting for a dynamic Business Unit Manager to lead growth, operational excellence, and multi-site teams for a leading TIC provider across the UK and Ireland. This senior leadership role carries full P&L responsibility , driving strategic initiatives, operational performance, and market expansion. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage multi-site operations across the UK and Ireland, ensuring world-class service delivery and compliance in regulated industries. Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability across the business unit. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies . Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company ethics . Collaborate with regional and global leadership to implement strategic initiatives and growth plans. Develop, mentor, and empower management teams to deliver high-performance results. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and regulatory forums , strengthening brand presence. Qualifications Proven senior leadership experience managing multi-site or regional teams in TIC, industrial services, or related sectors. Strong track record in P&L management, business development, and operational transformation . Deep understanding of UK and Irish markets and regulated industries. Demonstrated ability to drive growth and operational excellence in complex, high-compliance environments. Fluency in English ; additional European languages are a plus. Willingness to travel extensively across the region to oversee operations and client engagement.
