3.5 Tonne Driver – Exeter People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Marden. Shifts Monday to Friday Early Shift: 06:00 starts Late Shift: 14:00 starts Rates of Pay £12.71 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Deliver home furnishings and furniture to customers' homes with the assistance of a driver's mate Operate and drive 3.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured correctly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as required Essential Skills Valid UK Category B driving licence Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles No more than six penalty points (no major endorsements) Good spoken and written English Reliable, punctual, and professional Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided Online Health & Safety training provided before starting work Apply If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
