Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Location: Kansas City, MO Contract Type: Permanent | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Rotating Weekends Hours: 36 hours per week Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments following standards of care and disease-specific protocols. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide direct patient care while supervising non-licensed nursing staff within scope of practice. Deliver patient and family education tailored to each patient’s condition and cultural needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, high-quality care delivery. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN). Active RN License in Missouri or Compact License. BLS certification required upon hire.
