Garment Technologist

Title: Garment Technologist - (Contract) Contract Dates: ASAP to 22/12/2025 Rate: £275 per day - Umbrella Location: Fully site-based in London Role Overview: Our client is is seeking a Product/Garment Technologist - Soft Accessories, with strong expertise in garments, woven and knitwear. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality and consistency from concept through to final product. Key Responsibilities: Manage PLM admin, fit comments, and size charts. Review construction and product risks with vendors; communicate findings cross-functionally. Identify cost engineering opportunities. Coordinate seasonal fit meetings aligned with critical path. Communicate fit evaluations and amendments to vendors. Oversee testing processes with external test houses. Manage blocks and construction quality standards. Ensure compliance with technical specs and safety regulations. Ideal Profile: 3 years in apparel or soft accessories. Strong knowledge of garment construction and finishing. Experience in pattern making and grading. Solid understanding of raw materials and testing. Proficient in PLM systems and MS Office. Detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator
