Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a high-impact digital transformation initiative within a provincial professional association. This role will focus on aligning business objectives with technical implementation, ensuring smooth delivery of new systems and process enhancements that support organizational growth and member engagement. About the Role The Business Systems Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and helping design efficient, secure, and scalable solutions. This role requires someone comfortable translating complex operational needs into actionable technical plans and ensuring successful delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This remote contract will be offered on a part-time basis, with an estimated 10-20 hour's per week required. Key Responsibilities Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements for new technology initiatives. Map and optimize existing business processes to improve efficiency and user experience. Translate business goals into detailed technical specifications for developers and vendors. Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment across all project stages. Support data integration, system testing, and user acceptance activities. Develop clear documentation and communication materials for technical and non-technical audiences. About You You are a strategic and detail-oriented analyst with the ability to bridge business needs and technical execution. You excel in environments that require both collaboration and autonomy, and you bring strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills to every project. Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent role. Proven success supporting systems integration or digital transformation projects. Strong understanding of CRMs, AMS platforms, payment systems, and website integrations. Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors. Excellent process mapping, documentation, and communication skills. Background in non-profit, regulatory, or membership-based organizations is an asset.
