Full Stack Engineer

Our client, a Vancouver-based company, is seeking a Full-stack Engineer to join their Web Application development team on a 12-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex web, desktop, and mobile applications, integrating with large external systems and building innovative solutions for a growing customer base. This position will work hybrid during onboarding and go more remote as the project progresses. About the Role You will work across our web application stack, primarily using PHP, Typescript, and C#.NET, and integrate with ERP systems. The core platform includes a React and GraphQL web application, a Windows desktop utility for synchronizing customer data, and an in-house React Native mobile app for iOS and Android. Development and production environments are hosted on AWS , and the team actively embraces DevOps practices, moving toward full CI/CD. Key Responsibilities Collaborate on requirements specification in the form of user stories Design, implement, and test technical solutions that meet business needs Develop well-structured, maintainable code for web, mobile, and APIs Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and bug fixing Evaluate and implement frameworks and tools to improve development efficiency and code quality Contribute to an agile/scrum team, continuously improving processes and practices Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience with React, Typescript , PHP, and REST/GraphQL APIs. Must have experience working in larger organizations, and integrating large, multi-system solutions. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, AWS ideal. Practical knowledge of Linux , Git , and Docker . Strong ability to build reusable components and implement design systems (eg: MaterialUI). Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices to improve quality and team velocity. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for technical discussions and presentations. Minimum 5 years of experience in web application development.
