Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Qualification in Environmental, Health and Safety Management SAMTRAC certification with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Sound knowledge of EHS regulations and policies Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Internal auditing experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 standards Ability to deliver training sessions across all levels of staff Proactive, reliable, and responsible approach to work Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good administrative and document management skills Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry would be an advantage Firefighting certificate (Level 1) and a basic understanding of fire risk management Strong report writing skills Knowledge of food safety requirements and practices Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 standards Conduct Health and Safety Induction Training for all personnel on site Maintain both electronic and physical SHE documentation systems Carry out internal SHE audits and assist with corrective actions Conduct and review HIRAs (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments), WSWPs (Work Safe Work Procedures), and PJOs (Planned Job Observations)
