Electrician

Main Purpose of the Job To provide an effective electrical maintenance service to the plant by planning, organizing, completing and monitoring of electrical and general maintenance issues throughout the Mill. Attends to Electrical side of maintenance, breakdown, construction, installation and modifications to plant. Checks that daily inspections of all electrical equipment in his/ her section are done and are in good and safe condition Carries out all Off-crop maintenance as directed by Foreman Maintenance & fault finding of all electrical equipment including projects Ensure that scheduled maintenance and inspection are carried out in compliance with safety legislation using company procedure and NOSA ISO methodology. Ensure compliance to SAP management system Adherence to timelines in respect of works orders Standby duties and attend breakdown within acceptable time limit Work unplanned overtime Ensure safety and good housekeeping Qualifications and Experience Required Matric with N3 Electrical and recognised Trade test certificate Experience in Sugar Mill or heavy industrial exposure High level of energy with a focus on execution, initiative, attention to detail and sound interpersonal skills are also essential attributes. Valid drivers licence Personal Qualities Attention to detail, adaptability, and good communication skills Problem solving The ideal candidates must work well in a team environment, have high level of energy with a focus on execution Good verbal and written communication Strong planning, organizational skills and sound interpersonal skills are also essential attributes Closing Date Friday 07 November 2025
