Senior Mill Manager/Processing Manager

Minimum Requirements: Diploma/Degree/ B.Tech (Forestry, Wood, Ops Management, Production) TIMBER/WOOD industry (non-negotiable) 7 years in a senior strategic leadership role 5 years within Mill Operations Management Strong data interpretation skills Skilled in graded export sawntimber production Key Responsibilities: Managing budgets. Managing CAPEX projects with ROI tracking. Good commercial with solid understanding of cost drivers Working knowledge of TOC (Theory of Constraints), Lean, or other continuous improvement frameworks. Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Leading and managing diverse teams with interdependencies. Skilled in change management. Working knowledge in continuous improvement processes. Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation capability. Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate strategy into executable operational plans and measurable performance outcomes. Proven mentoring and coaching ability to build team competence and succession depth. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and performance. Must be able to maximise efficiencies. Manage machine uptime. Maximise the effectiveness of the plant and people. A passion for people development and building inclusive, high-performance teams. The ability to collaborate across departments and engage with diverse stakeholders. Confidence in using digital tools and data to drive improvement. Resilience and decisiveness in complex and high-pressure environments.
