Job Description
An exclusive opportunity exists for an accomplished Brand Manager to join one of South Africa’s most iconic and award-winning safari hospitality groups. This senior opportunity allows you to shape and elevate a world-renowned brand within the luxury travel sector, blending creative vision and strategic direction. With a strong focus on PR, digital growth, and guest experience, this role will be key to the brand’s next stage of evolution. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working in close collaboration with the Head of Sales & Marketing, this role will be instrumental in shaping how the brand is seen, felt, and experienced across all markets. The successful candidate will play an important leadership role in driving brand strategy, storytelling, and innovation, ensuring that every communication and guest touchpoint reflects the sophistication and authenticity synonymous with the brand. This is a permanent position is based at the Gauteng Head Office. However, our client is open to considering a hybrid working arrangement for suitably qualified candidates based elsewhere in South Africa. Regular travel to both the reserve and Head Office will however be required. A competitive remuneration package is on offer for this immediate start opportunity, and due to the strategic importance of the role, the shortlisting process will be highly selective. The successful candidate must be in post prior to the end of January 2026. This is an outstanding opportunity for a visionary Brand Manager with a deep appreciation for luxury, storytelling, and Africa’s natural beauty to leave a lasting mark on one of the South Africa’s most respected hospitality brands. / Clear criminal record; Excellent employment track record – references will be checked; Valid code 8 driver’s licence and own vehicle – mandatory; Excellent English communication, computer & literacy skills; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, Business, or a related field; Postgraduate qualification or MBA in Marketing, Luxury Brand Management, or Hospitality/Tourism Marketing is advantageous; 5 years of brand management experience, ideally within the luxury travel, hospitality, lifestyle, high-end consumer goods or design sectors; Proven success in building or evolving a luxury or premium brand, with measurable impact; Experience in leading PR, digital marketing, creative campaigns, brand partnerships & brand refreshes; Hands-on involvement in website redevelopment or digital UX projects with luxury positioning; Experience in global or high-net-worth (HNW/UHNW) market engagement – strong advantage; A deep understanding of affluent consumer behaviour and how to reach UHNW audiences; Exceptional storytelling skills — verbal, visual, and strategic; Strong project management skills and the ability to work across diverse teams; Strong business administration experience; Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Self-managed and proactive, with the ability to work with minimal supervision; Willingness to travel as required by the role; Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment; A deep love for South Africa and the African bush — and a desire to help the world experience it at its most beautiful Strong understanding of brand strategy, customer journey mapping, and positioning frameworks; Familiarity with PR tools, brand performance metrics, and digital analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar); Competence working with creative direction tools and briefing designers, content creators, and photographers; Knowledge of luxury marketing principles, including exclusivity, sensory storytelling, emotional connection, and experiential branding : Evolve brand positioning to align with the ultra-luxury market while staying true to our unique heritage and values. & : Oversee the redevelopment of our website and digital assets with a luxury lens — elegant, immersive, and conversion-focused. & : Drive high-impact public relations campaigns locally and globally; secure placements in top-tier travel, lifestyle, and luxury media. : Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints — from online discovery to lodge arrival and beyond. : Guide visual identity, storytelling, and creative content across platforms — from brochures and social media to film and experiential activations. & : Collaborate with and manage external agencies, photographers, and content creators to bring the brand vision to life. : Stay ahead of luxury and ultra-luxury trends, competitive movements, and guest expectations — and translate insights into action. / / Negotiable CTC remuneration, DOE and qualifications - ; Provident Fund, Group Life & Disability, Dreaded Disease Cover Work Cycle/Hours: Monday to Friday as well as standby on some weekends & public holidays Applicable after three months of successful employment.
