Job Description

Minimum requirements: Grade 12 Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Minimum 1-2 years experience in HR Computer Literacy Ability to prioritize own workload to meet deadlines Very strong communication and negotiation skill The ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels Works well under pressure, individually and within a team Deadline driven Excellent attention to detail and numerate accuracy Key Responsibilities: Perform generalist HR administrative duties. Administer Employee Self Service (ESS) and serve as initial point of assistance and problem resolution. Load and terminate employees on ESS & ERS Biometric and adjust according to staff movement. Maintain the sites (Shell, Total, Tyre Town, Suzuki and Toyota) attendance records. Collate monthly rosters and reconcile the hours worked to payroll system and leave reports. Create a variety of leave reports as and when necessary. Provide guidance and assistance to employees and management regarding the application of the leave policy. Act as backup to HR Manager with regards to all payroll functions which includes but are not limited to: Collecting required documents from employees Assist line managers and employees with the completion and submission of IOD claims and maintain records for follow up Collects statistical data for administrative and/or quality improvement purposes Manage employee benefits including updating of new and current employees on the MIBCO portal Provide administrative support for HR projects as assigned Generate monthly and quarterly reports on areas of activity as well as ad hoc reports as required. Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees as to applicable labour legislation and company policies. Assist HR Manager with compiling supporting documents for WSP/ATR i.e. training registers and signed invoices. Assist HR Manager with administrative recruitment duties i.e. loading adverts, shortlisting, telephonic screening and reference checks. Assist HR Manager with ad hoc duties as and when required.
