Senior Draftsman / Drawing Division Manager

Job Specification: Manage and lead the drawing department, including draftsmen and design staff Oversee the preparation of detailed technical drawings and 3D models Ensure design accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to client specifications Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to support project requirements Review and approve drawings before submission or release for production Implement and maintain drafting standards, systems, and procedures Mentor and train junior draftsmen, promoting continuous improvement and skill development Monitor workloads, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely project delivery Requirements: Relevant qualification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Minimum 5 years experience in drafting/design, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role Proficient in CAD software SolidWorks Strong technical drawing and design interpretation skills Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
