IT System Admin III with Security Clearance

iQuasar LLC is seeking to fill IT System Admin III role for one of our customers. The ideal candidate will bring solid technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration, web system administration (IIS, Apache Tomcat), and a strong understanding of data management principles, while being comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a mix of remote and onsite responsibilities. This temporary assignment offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while gaining experience in a fast-paced public sector IT environment. One of our client’s needs an IT System Admin III role in Los Angeles, CA • Position: IT System Admin III role • Location: Headquarters Downtown Los Angeles (Union Station) • Schedule: Hybrid | Office days are 2 days and the rest remote. Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Alternating Fridays Off) • Clearance: Public Trust and above Job Description: • Perform system administration duties for Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and Unix environments. • Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases (2012 and newer), including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. • Administer and support web applications and servers (Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat). • Support Microsoft SharePoint system administration, including maintenance of sites and applications. • Assist the Senior System Administrator with troubleshooting, system analysis, performance monitoring, and documentation. • Perform software installations, upgrades, and patches across various platforms. • Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of multi-tier applications. • Participate in new projects, system implementations, and IT infrastructure improvements. • Ensure systems and applications maintain high levels of performance, availability, and security.
