Mechanical Estimator MEP Contracting (Building Services) Central London - Hybrid Working 1 Day per Week from Home A leading, privately-owned Building Services contractor is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their growing estimating team in London. This contractor is well-established within the industry and renowned for delivering major commercial, healthcare, data centre, pharmaceutical and mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe, with MEP package values reaching up to £50m. Due to continued growth and major project wins, they are looking for a motivated Mechanical Estimator who can contribute to the production of accurate, competitive tenders. You will work closely with a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator, gaining exposure to complex and high-value opportunities while developing your commercial and technical skills. This role comes with a clear progression plan to Senior Mechanical Estimator, aligning with the expansion of the business and the increasing volume of large-scale projects being tendered. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation of mechanical tenders and pre-construction information in line with deadlines • Producing accurate and competitive cost estimates from early enquiry through to submission • Reviewing mechanical subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring scope alignment and value engineering opportunities • Supporting tender reviews, clarifications, and commercial negotiations • Liaising with internal design, commercial, and delivery teams throughout the tender process • Attending client/tender meetings and assisting with presentations when required This is a fantastic opportunity to accelerate your estimating career within a forward-thinking, supportive team engaged in some of the most exciting projects in the market.
