Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Title: Senior Mechanical Project Manager Location: City of London Company: Major Tier 1 MEP Contractor Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Manager ready to take the lead on one of London’s most exciting commercial developments? Our client, a major Tier 1 MEP Contractor, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to deliver one of two flagship new-build commercial schemes, each with an MEP value between £30m – £50m. These projects represent some of the most high-profile and technically challenging developments currently underway in the City of London. The Role As the Mechanical Lead, you will report directly to the site-based Project Director and oversee all mechyanical delivery activities. You’ll manage a team of Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Construction Managers, ensuring all works are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities Lead the mechanical package across the project lifecycle, from design coordination through to commissioning and handover. Manage and mentor a team of engineers and construction managers. Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and installation quality. Collaborate closely with the electrical and project leadership teams to ensure seamless MEP integration. Drive programme delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction. About You Proven track record of managing mechanical packages on large-scale commercial new-build projects (£20m MEP value). Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Experience working within a Tier 1 MEP or main contractor environment. Relevant electrical or building services qualification (HNC/HND/Degree).
