Job Description

The I.T/Product Specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical support across customer sites. This role combines solutions design, remote implementation and support to ensure optimal system performance and a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities: • Participating in project work related to PACS, such as new implementations or system expansions. • Provide remote implementation troubleshooting, diagnostics, and 2nd line technical support. • Conduct routine maintenance and software updates to ensure system reliability. • Liaise with customers to address technical issues and provide user guidance. • Document service activities and maintain accurate technical records. • Collaborate with internal teams as act as an escalation point to resolve complex issues. • Design workflows and implement complex DICOM / HL7 Routing solutions • Liaise with senior NHS and 3rd party providers to advise, design and implement solutions. • Continue to develop and implement efficient software deployment packages and procedures. • Falt-find and configure VPN connections • Update router configuration scripts to support new hardware requirements and add functionality such as Bondix load balancing for 4g connectivity. • Assist the development team with testing and add feature requests for additional functionality. Requirements: • Proven experience in IT, or related technical field. • Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting. • High level experience of PACS and Image Routing Solutions, HL7 and DICOM • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Server OS . Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure based installations • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites when required. • Experience with change management processes. Qualifications * Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills * Customer Support and Customer Service skills * Proficiency with various Operating Systems * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Degree or professional certification in IT such as MCSE or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
